Content support specialist for healthcare provider’s national sales support and training intranet
- Served as team lead on project to create and implement web-based submission of content edits.
- Completed site-wide audit of over 5,000 pages that identified unnecessary CSS styles.
- Worked with internal Developer team to design, test, and deploy CMS programming that automatically reminds remote contributors to review their content, resulting in more up-to-date pages.
- Led project to bring Sales intranet into compliance with corporate editorial standards.
- Prepared site for transition to new CMS by identifying and correcting non-standard HTML on pages in Marketing, Pricing and Underwriting, and Leadership Communication areas.
March 2001–Aug 2010: Senior Web Developer, Celera
- Developed and maintained 1000+ page LAMP website and image archive for biotech company as it moved from startup to public entity status.
- Designed every version of site layout and supervised all content, created user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, content and infrastructure for new product release and new web-hosted product offering.
- Provided written documentation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Implemented off-the-shelf CMS solution that saved the company approximately $10,000 annually.
- Performed an internal software audit for Microsoft Enterprise licensing that yielded over $100,000 in savings.
- Converted original LAMP system to SharePoint architecture.
